2005 and up toyota tacoma

I am looking to get a new truck at the end of the summer. I had a 99 dodge 1500 4x4 but wrecked it this past winter. I am looking into the 05 and up toyota tacoma's because I like how they look, especially with a little lift and a good stance. I don't know anyone that owns one, so I am just looking for some first hand reviews from people that might own or have owned one in the past. Things such as reliability, interior features, mpg...things like that.

I would get another full sized pick up or diesel but with the fuel prices being so high these days, I still want to have the convenience of a truck with some better fuel economy than a typical full size.
