On my 2000 dodge ram 2500 my headlights are horrible. There stock headlights i have changed both housings, and put in better bulbs but its just not bright at all. Anyone know good aftermarket ones that will fit right in. Not looking to spend a fortune probably getting rid of this truck soon.

well, if youre getting rid of the truck, i dont know if its worth it to you to upgrade to sport headlights. im sure the person after you who buys it would appreciate it. they are BRIGHT, and i didnt even buy those sylvania silverstars for them, i used the ones that came with it, which were a better bulb anyways. they were some kind of philips bulb.

yep, i had regular ones like you, then i put the sports in. the only thing was i needed another harness for the two extra bulbs and to cut some sheet metal inside of the housing to make room for the second bulbs. im running HID projectors now.

The least expensive way to go is that $15 head-light-restore kit from pep boys ... and figure 30 to 45 minutes sanding and using the plastic polish on each head light.

It works good if you have the time... or you can just get some 1500 and 2000 grit sand paper, and wet sand your head lights, and then polish them with some plastic polish and a cotton rag for just $5

They come out like new if you have the time..

Putting in a quality HID conversion in your stock non sport headlights will do wonders.
