i started on my custom bumper for my dodge 1500. hopefully it turns out good.

im going to ad lights and then get it powdercoated black.

do you think i should cut holes in the front to get more air flow? kinda like the stock bumpers have.

i wouldnt cut holes either. One thing i would add though is a front receiver tube. Theyre cheap at TSC and its one of those things youll wish you have someday.

I like the turnout. Its clean, simple, and functional.

I have all the plate welded on now. ill post some pics of it later today i didnt want to clear the snow off it this morning.

Does $150 sound right to get it powdercoated black?

$150 isnt too bad, but i wouldnt get it powdercoated. Once you chip or get a good scratch in the powder it will just flake off. I think some spray can paint would be easier to maintain, or have it Line-X'ed.

yea im going with spray paint because its cheap and i have no money.

it was to dark for pics when i got home. ill get them for sure tomorrow.
