Ok, so I just got a 2000 Gmc Jimmy SLE. 4dr 4x4, 4.3L v6 vortec. Im looking to put a lift kit on it, along with more performance upgrades. This is gona be my first car and I look to put some money into it. Looking for good ideas/suggestions. Anything helps, thanks.
Nothing guys?
I don't think there is much in the way of performance parts for these anymore. A lot of the lift kits have also gone away. You can still get some, as well as the brackets for doing a solid axle swap, which will be stronger and probably be a little more than the good ifs lift kits.

Here is a link to some ifs lift kits. http://www.rockymountainsusp.com/GM_S10_4wd.htm
You can also look for body lifts. I think 2" is the highest they still make for these.
solid axle - google search. http://www.google.com/#sclient=psy-ab&hl...80&bih=869

Yo man, those links helped alot. I think I'm gona go for the FIT 6" lift. Is there anything else I should get if im buying this specific one? and can a body raise be used on top of a lift kit?
I'm not sure if you would need anything else, besides tires and wheels and maybe lower gears if you can find them. I would call them up and ask.

A body lift can be used with a suspension lift. It is basically some spacers that goes between the body and the frame.
Thanks man I really appreciate it you helped me alot.
